Aussies in the USA helping Nauru + Manus Refugees

Ads-Up Laptop fund

Most refugees live paycheck to paycheck and struggle to save – we want to help them with an investment in their future.

For the first few months of the New Year, Ads-Up Refugee Network is focusing on providing affordable laptops to refugees from Manus and Nauru who have resettled in the USA.

An affordable laptop allows young refugees to study, improve their English, develop computer skills and apply for better-paying jobs.

Please Donate to our Laptop Fund or email Contact(at)Ads-Up.org if you would like to send a second-hand laptop directly to a refugee, or make a purchase to be sent directly through Amazon.

About Ads-UP

Ads-Up is a network of Australians in the USA working to support the 1,250 refugees being resettled here under the US-Australia refugee deal.

The us Government provides 90 days of limited assistance to new refugees – after that, they’re on their own.

We aim to fill the gap.

We're mobilising the great Aussie diaspora to do what our governments would not: create a network of social support and provide necessary financial assistance.
